Interstate 686 (I-686) is an Auxiliary Interstate Highway loop encircling Tycloud Park / Durai City, NY and Lighting Bliss / Jesusville, PA for 73 miles (117.482 km). The route is called Kion - Brony - Jasiri Counties Beltway for its whole length. It is also signed other names along its route. It is also cosigned with Interstate 81 and the Equestria Bypass Beltway on its eastern half.
I-686 is also called different names on different parts of it. From the PAW Patrol Interchange (I-81/I-686/Cute Kion Pkwy) in Paw Patrol City, NY east/south to the I-86 Interchange near Finnickville, its called PAW Patrol Expressway. From I-86 south to the the Lightning Bliss Interchange (I-686/PA 99) in Lightning Bliss City, NY as Lloyd "Jerry" Long Memorial Fwy. From the PA 99 interchange to to the I-984 Interchange in Bedda & Goldly Town its called Burning Axe Turnpike (part of PA 99). From the I-984 Interchange north to the Durai City Interchange (I-86/NY 17/I-686) in Durai City, NY its called Shirley & Henry R. Memorial Freeway. From the Durai City Interchange north/east to the PAW Patrol Interchange is called Durai City Freeway.
The PAW Patrol Exwy segment is named for the city it runs through, PAW Patrol City, NY. The Lloyd "Jerry" Mem. Fwy segment is named for my (project' owner) dad, who passed away on Sep 20, 2017 . The Shirley & Henry R. Memorial Freeway segment is named for my (project owner's) mom's parents. The Durai City Freeway segment is named for the city it runs through, Durai City, NY.

Route Description
The route starts at the Finnick Interchange in Finnickville, NY with Interstate 86 and NY 17 (Cute Sandbar Fwy) to which it heads south as Lloyd "Jerry" Long Memorial Fwy interchanging with Kion CR 1 and US Route 306. It soon interchanges with Pennsvnua State Route 99 (Burning Axe Tpk) and Interstate 81 and turns west along PA 99 becoming Burning Axe Turnpike. It interchanges with Cute Kion State Parkway then comes to a interchange with Interstate 984 to which it leaves PA 99 to head north as Shirley & Henry R. Memorial Freeway to interchange with US 306 again and other local routes before interchanging with Interstate 86 / NY 17 (Beautiful Tempest Shadow Fwy) becoming the Durai City Freeway crossing into Durai City. It interchanges with local city streets before turning east to interchange with Interstate 81 and Cute Kion State Parkway to which I-81 joins east and the route becomes Paw Patrol Expressway entering Paw Patrol City. It interchanges with New York State Route 369 and then Interstate 88. It then turns south to interchange with New York State Route 381 (Chani Airport Fwy) and New York State Route 482 (Beautiful Silverstream Fwy). It then soon interchanges with Interstate 86 again ending at its starting point.
Memorial Names
The segment of Interstate 686 called "Lloyd "Jerry" Memorial Fwy" is named for my (project owner's) dad's dad, who passed away on September 20, 2017. The segment names "Shirley & Henry R. Memorial Freeway" is named after my mom's parents. This is done so there is a memorial highway on the beltway for both my parents parents. To show respect and to show how much I love & care for my wonderful Mom & Dad.
Major Intersection Guide
The following exits are clockwise from the east : going south to west, west to north, north to east, east to south. Exit 1 is at the Finnick Interchange in Finnickville, NY with Interstate 86 / NY 17 (Adorable Rainbow Dash Exwy) where the exit numbers start going south.
As of Aug 2017, all exits are miles based. They are guessed by Google maping a route that follows I-686 in this project along Real world roads.
History
Interstate 686 uses to be signed as Interstate 286 and I-781 when it was being constructed. When it was finished is was signed as Interstate 686 with the hidden state route number of New York State Route 686.
- Signed as I-286 from PA 99 (Cute Lightning Bliss Tpk) north to the Durai City Interchange (I-86/NY 17) in Durai City.
- Signed as I-781 from the Durai City Interchange (I-86 / NY 17) in Durai City north/east to the PAW Patrol Interchange (I-81/NY 586) in PAW Patrol City, NY
- Signed as I-286 from Paw Patrol Interchange (I-81/NY 586) east/south to the Cute Ono Interchange (I-81/I-784) in Onoville, PA until 2015 when it was signed shortly as New York State Route 686, then in 2016 was switched to Interstate 686 and the state number was hidden.
- I-686 used to be signed along also what is Interstate 984, Interstate 81 (PA 99A).
